HIPPY- THE UNRECOGNIZED BY LAW VISIBLE MINORITY WHO WERE AS SEVERELY UNDERVALUED AS THE BEATNIKS WERE. WE BROUGHT ART AND MUSIC TO THE PEOPLE.

POLICE WERE PREJUDICED AGAINST HIPPIES AND HIPPY CULTURE AND PERSONS WHO WERE SIMILAR TO HIPPIES IN APPEARANCE AND IN THE POVERTY WHICH MANY OF US SHARED WITH THE MAJORITY OF THE HIPPIES.

THERE IS A LOT  OF THE INFLUENCE AND THE STYLE OF THE 1950's BEATNIKS IN MY HIPPY CULTURE AND APPEARANCE.

IN THE 1970'S WITH MY LONG HAIR, TIGHT BLACK CLOTHING, UTILITY SHOES, OLD CARS, MOTORCYCLES, JEWELRY FACTORY AND THE ART, MUSIC AND WRITING I LOOKED A BIT LIKE A HAIGHT ASHBURY HIPPY BUT I WAS MORE OF A  DIRECT DESCENDANT OF ANDY WARHOL'S NEW YORK CULTURE.

I SMOKED HASH, BUT THERE WAS NO COKE OR JUNK IN MY CULTURE.

I WAS CHARACTERIZED FALSELY AS A DIFFERENT SORT OF HIPPY, WHO WAS AN ANARCHIST OR POLITICAL RADICAL.

AS A BEATNIK ARTIST I WOULD NOT SEEK TO  CONFRONT AUTHORITY BUT TO PORTRAY THEM AND TO SATIRIZE THEM. I WOULD GIVE THEM THE ANDY WARHOL OR SALVADOR DALI TREATMENT WITH ART, IN WRITING  AND WITH MUSIC.

People whom I have never met hate me and my life ticks away. I am crippled and isolated in bed at home.

HATE HATE IS CHARACTERIZED AS AN EMOTIONAL ISSUE WHERE THERE IS AN INTENSE DISLIKE OF OTHER PEOPLE, BUT THERE IS HATE WHICH IS ACTED UPON....
