THERE WAS A MEADOW WHICH SLOPED UP INTO A SMALL HILL. A DEEP DITCH DESTROYED IT. LARULLA CREEK WAS DIVERTED.

BRITISH COLUMBIA WATER MANAGEMENT BRANCH FAILS TO ACT

It is very difficult to see in a picture how deep the ditch is or where Salmonid Enhancement Watercourse Larulla Creek originally ran. 

When you are walking about where Larulla Creek was or by the ditch it is very obvious to a competent observer what was and what had been done to do this.

The Canadian Building Code requires high and dry with swales to drain a home site.The house was permitted and approved at the top of a small hill which a gently sloping but flat meadow fronted. The earth was excavated 17 feet deep and the house was built down in the hole where it is subject to flooding. Was contractor Cliff Beance intimidated by the Otter Point Redneck Mafia?  They had guns and were convicted of discharging them here and made threats and drove people off their Homesteads here twice in the 1970's. They had Harley's and Black Corvettes Sting Ray's and the talk was of them "Moving Weight".

The screen of trees, these are contemporary, was this complete and the trees were very attractive and provided privacy from the ajacent property. Trees were cut down and sold. The top soil, from the only flat two acres or so was stripped,trucked off in a Ron Shambrooke Company truck and then sold, a crime.

THIS IS A CLOSE UP PICTURE OF WHAT THE ENTIRE HOMESTEADABLE PART OF MY PROPERTY WAS REDUCED TO, SCRAPED DOWN TO CLAY  RUINING EVERY BIT OF FLAT LAND ON MY PROPERTY. IT IS STERILE STILL. THE ONLY GROWING SOIL IS THE SOIL I BROUGHT UP FROM THE PEAT BOG, A HUNDRED AND FIFTY  FOOT CIRCLE OF FERTILITY ON WHAT WAS DUSTY CHOKING WIND BLOWN CLAY.

POLICE AND BY-LAW ALWAYS IGNORED THIS VISIBLE EVIDENCE AND RAIDED SENT BY PHONE CALLS WHICH WERE UNEVIDENCED.

Postscript:

From 1974 to to 1978 I lived in Delta, not far away as Bats fly in a Heritage House called Burrvilla which had a 2000 sq foot Ballroom with a 20 foot high Atrium. To create the venue all of the wall doors would slide into pockets and that was a great place to play live music. I do wish I could have kept that house.
