MOTIVATE PEOPLE WHO WOULD NOT WORK UNDER A SOCIALIST SUPPORT PLAN

THE ARGUMENT IS MADE THAT IF PEOPLE HAD FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER AND ENTERTAINMENT THEY WOULD JUST LAYABOUT AND NOT GO TO WORK

Unfortunately contemporary events have created a situation where some people actually recieve more money when they are not employed, it would, short term, be more lucerative to remain on compensatory payments. This is a shortsighted plan. Many persons who do this will find their jobs will go away. 

Not all people can do any productive work for a number of valid reasons and those persons probably require basic sustenance plus additional assistance.

Many people too lazy and unethical to turn up for work have to be supported.  Possibly there is a remedy for the intransigence of the dishonorable and the shiftless:

In that it might be difficult to find persons to do some jobs except by the current  methodology of Capitalism which works by leaving some people to have to work or starve and be homeless:

 

If you are a working contributing member of the Commonwealth it is less likely that you would be incarcerated for a non-violent or minor crime. Enhancing this protection and codifying it would be an incentive to be employed particularily among the population most likely to shirk work.

IN ADDITION TO JAILING PERSONS FOR CRIME WHAT ABOUT DEMANDING UNDESIRABLE WORK BE DONE?

ANOTHER REAL DISINCENTIVE TO NOT WORKING AND COMMITTING CRIME, WHEN SUSTENANCE WAS NOT AT STAKE, WOULD BE LONG TERM ASSIGNMENT TO UNDESIRABLE JOBS WHICH PEOPLE DID NOT WANT.
